Sabres
Sabres in Traffic... Playoffs! 5.10.2007 by Dellas
Eastern Conference Finals Game One; Sabres 2, Senators 5
Sabres come out skating hard but fall apart soon there after. Despite taking bad penalties, giving up the puck repeatedly the game was tied at two after two, largely due to Miller. The Senators pulled away in the third. Similar to Sabres, they are a very fast, skilled team, playing at a high level of confidence–perhaps a bit more so than the Sabres, collectively, at this point. The Sabres will have to raise their level of play to beat this team and win this series. Miller could be the difference as he is the better goaltender–but he will need help.
Saturday night, game two will tell the story...
